who i am

greg and ginger o'brien: welcome to our blog. i suppose while it is a blog about our family, i (ginger) will most likely be the one writing as greg would rather read and jude is a toddler. i am 31 years old and i am married to the most amazing man i've ever known. we have been living in boston, ma for 5 years going to seminary at gordon-conwell. as a follower of jesus christ, i am learning more each day about who i am. i am greg's wife, jude's mother, friend to others, stranger to many. but yet i keep learning that who i am is not solely defined by these - God is ever changing who i am. i am His - a child of God - who loves to read, write, be outside, take photos, cook, discover new places and music i've never heard. my roles change. my interests change. my job changes. this is my journey. it is hard, wonderful, invigorating, full of emotion, love, laughter and even suffering. and it is good because i belong to Christ.
